In central and classic Chianti, there are medieval buildings in a row, but it is still rare to meet a so well preserved and through-renovated one of its kind, a true castle with all the trimmings. As well as including a restaurant, wine bar and several pool areas.
At Castello di Meleto you are offered a range of modern and contemporary classical homes from simple and rustic to very exclusive leases – for a few people or for large groups. Castelle di Meleto was a very important Florentine fortress and fortifications in the original dispute between the Florentine and strainer sensed great power. The location was significant because of its location high above the ground with looking over the area after strange, warlike troops.
The castle is located on the current Chianti route, so there is every opportunity for large vinous, culinary and cultural experiences. The castle is just 25 km away from one of the historical and cultural highlights, Siena, which each year attracts plenty of cultural tourists and people with a penchant for historical and architectural experiences.
On the castle grounds there is a liquor store, which also serves as wine bar, which also sells other delicacies as well as a selection of literature on the area. Just down the road is the restaurant, which is open for both lunch and dinner. On the castle you have the possibility to supplementary bye breakfast in the beautiful dinning room.

The apartment is sheltered by the fortress wall and has a large living room with a double sofa bed, TV and a very rustic, brick pillars supporting the roof with the heavy and rustic wooden beams. On the ground level there are also well-equipped kitchen and bathroom with shower. The very elevated loft opens to a bedroom with wardrobe and deep inside a double bed. La Loggia, 4 pers. private villa located just outside the fortress. The villa is on two floors, where from the covered upper terrace goes directly into the large open kitchen / living room with dining table and chairs, sofa and armchair. You go down a few steps to the sleeping area, where there is a double bedroom and a bedroom with two single beds. On this floor there is a bathroom with shower. From the bedrooms you have direct access to the covered terrace which offers a marvelous view over the countryside. Within easy reach are bay trees, olive trees, cherry trees, and if you are quick and clever with your hands, it is not impossible to get hold of a pheasant; there are namely lots of them here.
Vignanova; 6 pers. independent villa next to the castle. From the private courtyard you go directly into the living room with sofa, armchair and TV. Here there is an open access to well-equipped kitchen. Then there are three bedrooms - all with en suite bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms have double beds and the third has two single beds. Belonging to the villa there is a large covered dining area outside, where there is a great, almost fairytale-like and undisturbed view of the castle and the beautiful Tuscan countryside.
The last four apartments are located in a large, beautiful and completely renovated Renaissance building approx. 300 meters from the castle. The four apartments share a delicious saltwater pool from which you have a view over the beautiful landscape and down to the magnificent castle.
